We hosted another wonderful workshop with our Montessori students. Thank you to the teachers Mrs Plato, Mrs Engel, Mr van der Merwe and Ms Windsor.

We out-sourced an exceptional young man/upcoming artist (Damon Plato) to design a new logo for our Art Centre. We are very excited with the outcome and we would like to share this with you. Ready. Set. Go… Final touches to the decorations that will be integrated in the decoration of the Marquee for the common prayers at St Joseph Marist College during the days of the Pilgrimage of Trust. The art centre decided to put up a mini exhibition at all our feeder schools to showcase the lovely work the kids are creating. We started at Zonnebloem Girls Primary and looking forward to putting up the rest of the exhibition at all the other schools.

Holy Cross Primary Grade 4 and Grade 3 classes enjoyed a lovely morning with Mary at the UCT Irma Stern Museum looking at the Exhibition called Tipping Point which focuses on the threatened plants of Southern Africa. Artists in the making Grade 3 Learners Grade 3 Learner

GoGreen Desks! The Art Centre was selected by WILDLANDS as a beneficiary to receive these beautiful outside desks. These desks are made from waste collected at the Two Oceans Marathon in 2018. The desks are made possible through Polyco, Old Mutual and WILDLANDS.   Look how lovely they look in our garden.

We celebrated World Book Day 2019 at the Central Library on Friday, 5 April 2019. The event was well attended by the children and the staff of the art centre.
